Gabonese Ladies I & II, 2010

I set out on a journey to meet a series of elderly ladies, acquaintances from my past, and presented them with the catalogue of the 'Pavillon du Gabon' at the Venice Biennale. I documented their reactions to my work, most particularly to the piece 'Le Phare de la Mèmoire', which consists of a projection that incorporates old photos from my family album.
